Beverly Hills & Los Angeles Wrinkles treatment

Wrinkles, or more formally, rhytides, are lines that appear on the face from age, environmental factors, or a combination thereof.

What Are The Types of Wrinkles and Their Characteristics? There are three types of wrinkles:

  • Dynamic Wrinkles
    • Caused by contraction of the muscles that are attached to the overlying skin.
    • Usually in the brow area (frown lines) or periorbital area (crow’s feet)
  • Static Wrinkles
    • Wrinkles unrelated to muscle movement, hence “static”
    • Related to age, sun damage, or smoking damage (smoker’s face)
  • Wrinkle Folds
    • Deep lines and grooves, often occurring in the nasolabial region (nasolabial folds), namely between the nose and the lips.

Who Is Most Likely To Have This Condition?

  • Patients with extensive sun exposure
