We use the Ultrapulse Encore, which is the newest and safest version of CO2 available in the world. What Are The Indications for CO2 Laser Treatment?
Am I A Candidate for the CO2 Laser?Those with facial wrinkles and fine lines can develop fantastic results. Also, facial skin laxity responds very well to CO2 laser resurfacing. What Can I Expect With CO2 Laser Resurfacing?This instrument allows us to use a high-energy beam to vaporize scars, lines, wrinkles and other skin imperfections, layer by layer. The laser affords a level of precision, control and accuracy that is not available by other methods. The laser uses an energy beam of light to vaporize scars, lines, wrinkles, and other skin imperfections. What Are The Advantages of the CO2 Laser?Laser light penetrates to a very precise, controlled depth, making the procedure safe and predictable. The laser is gentle, comforting both during and after the procedure is complete. How Long Does It Take?Procedures range from 30 min- 1 hour. How Many Treatments Are Required?The number of treatments depends upon the desired results. Usually 1 treatment is sufficient. Will I Have Pain?Most patients are essentially pain free during this procedure. We use the latest technology to minimize any discomfort. We also apply our especially formulated highly effective pre-treatment topical anesthetic cream. This is sufficient for most patients. As an additional measure, we use the Zimmer cold air device, which gently blows cold air against the skin, to facilitate comfort. As every person has a different threshold for pain, for those especially sensitive patients, we have developed other protocols to ensure that the treatment is extremely comfortable and tolerable allowing you to fully enjoy the results without pain. When Can I Go Back To Work Or School?You can be back to your normal schedule in about 7-14 days.
